A beautiful example of a contemporary Gypsy caravan glamping unit, River View 5 (RV5) is a sought-after 4-berth unit. The unit is clad in wood both inside and out making it a warm, comfortable or popular holiday accommodation choice.


River View 5 is fully self-contained with it's own kitchenette, shower and WC. RV5 is the perfect base if you are looking to explore our local area with Snowdonia National Park just a stone's throw away. We are lucky to have the 2 highest peaks in Wales, Snowdon and Cadair Idris almost on our doorstep. So, after ascending these mountain peaks head back to your glamping unit, kick off your shoes, change into your swimming gear and immerse yourself in the Lazy Spa Hot Tub on your decking. And when you're done and ready for bed, tuck yourself into the double bed and relax with a book. And if you're holidaying with friends, family or children take advantage of the double sofa bed in the front room. The 4-berth option that RV5 offers alongside the 4-person Lazy-Spa hot tub makes this a popular glamping unit at Twin Rivers Holiday Park.

    River View 5 (RV5) is a 4-berth unit in the style of a very pretty Gypsy hut. Gentle painted wood panelling in and out give it a warm comfortable feeling and being self-contained it has all you need to arrive and then come back to after any adventure you embark on. RV5 offers a double bed area and an additonal sofa bed. There is a shower with separate WC, a 2-ring hob, microwave, kettle and toaster… and of course absolute relax… enjoy….

    • To what degree are the units cleaned after each visit?

      Each of our holiday lets are thoroughly deep cleaned after every rental. COVID-19 has seen us introduce extra requirements for our cleaning staff, including:


      • allowing extra time for the thorough cleaning of each unit
      • removing any unnecessary items which could increase transmission of the virus such as scatter cushions and blankets
      • use of disinfectant
      • enhanced cleaning of high touch point areas e.g. light switches, taps etc

      Our enhanced cleaning measures are designed to keep our staff and guests safe at all times.

    • Is booking cost a deposit and is it refundable?

      Yes, a deposit of 50% of the total holiday cost is payable upong booking. Should you wish to cancel your booking due to COVID-19, then your deposit is refundable. Alternatively, you can move your holiday to a later date. The balance of your holiday is required 2 weeks before arrival.

    • Is there Wifi provision?

      The wi-fi at the park is currently being upgraded and superfast fibre broadband will be available across the park from Spring 2021.

    • When to arrive/depart?

      We have implemented a contactless check-in service across all our holiday lets. We kidly ask that you arrive after 4pm. You will be sent the arrival instructions prior to your arrival date detailing how to find us and how to gain access to your accommodation.


      On the day of your departure we kindly ask that you vacate your accommodation before 10 am please. You will also be provided with the details of our contactless check-out prior to your arrival.

    • What are the types/lengths of holiday available for each unit?

      Holidays at Twin Rivers Holiday Park are flexible starting from 1 night but there will be a surcharge of £45.00 for 1 night.

    • Do you take dogs?

      Yes we do! Dogs are welcome at Twin Rivers Holiday Park and we have a designated dog walking area on the park where you are welcome to exercise your pets.  We do charge an additional £50 though for the additional cleaning required.

    • How does electricity work?

      All units are provided with electricity and the cost is included in the holiday price.

    • Is bedding supplied and can you bring your own?

      Bedding, towels and tea towels are provided for the duration of you holiday. However, we understand that you may wish to bring your own. If you do, please let us know when you book.

    • Where is the nearest hospital or doctors?

      There is a minor injuries unit at Welshpool Hospital but this is not 24 hours. The nearest Accident and Emergency Department is at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.


      The nearest doctor's surgery is Caereinion Medical Practice at Llanfair Caereinion.

    • Can I have a BBQ?

      Yes of course! All our holiday lets are provided with one disposable BBQ for you to use.
