That’s right, something big is coming to North Wales and you won’t want to miss it. Every year, most of us count down the days to the start of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here. Beautiful Australian landscapes form the backdrop alongside exotic animals and bush grub, but not this year!
No, because of the travel restrictions and social distancing measures arising from the COVID-19 pandemic, I’m A Celebrity is, in fact, coming to Wales. And this is an exciting opportunity for us to showcase some of the stunning sights you can enjoy if you choose a staycation right here at Twin Rivers Holiday Park.
Why Wales?
Although Wales may seem a million miles from Australia (9608 as the crow flies), it boasts rugged landscapes, beautiful coastlines and mountainous trails which we believe are some of the best in the UK, perfect for the challenge of I’m A Celebrity.
And let’s face it, the premise of the programme isn’t for the celebs to come and have a holiday, so Wales really offers the perfect challenge. Gwrych Castle in Abergele was the first location to be confirmed for the new series. So, we’re going to run a series of blogs to coincide with the hit TV show boasting about everything Wales has to offer and why it makes the perfect holiday destination.
If you, like us, can’t wait for it to begin, why not join us here at Twin Rivers Holiday Park and watch it from the comfort of one of our deluxe lodges or bespoke glamping units (we are currently only open to Welsh residents due to lockdown 2.0 in England)? We’re just 68 miles from the historic castle which will feature in the 2020 edition of I’m A Celeb and within reaching distance of the Barmouth Coastline, the mountain summits of Cadair Idris and Snowdon as well as adrenaline packed days out such as Zip World and places to create family memories like Manorafon Farm Park (also set to make an appearance in this year’s series).
